German WW2 "Klappspaten" (E-tool folding) with carrier.

Markings are hard to see on the carrier, but it's a 3 letter code in front of the year 41.

The carrier has never had the usual reinforcement in metal to keep the shovel in place (see pictures). The shovel has the the markings; B & Co. Solingen H 40.

Picked up directed by me from a veteran who had several German field gear from the war/occupation.
